So for those of us who were not, as my cousin said, “blessed” in the chest area this is definitely one of our guilty pleasures. Plus, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, here’s a little advice for “the girls.”
So fellas, in case you were unaware, yes we do wear push-up bras. And yes we like it.
So even though Victoria’s Secret supposedly tries to make us feel better by making their bra sizes smaller thus making our boobs seem bigger, it doesn’t cut it. If it did they wouldn’t be coming out with bras like the Bombshell, which I don’t own but is claimed to boost us two cup sizes. (Future investment perhaps.)
What is this obsession with having bigger boobs than whatever you were born with? I have no idea but I do know, no matter who you are, we all like to show off “the girls” sometimes.
For us who were not “blessed” the Bombshell is one way to do it, for others they prefer plastic and then of course there’s just the natural fun bags (lucky you, this blog is irrelevant).
I’m no doctor so I wouldn’t dare delve into the realm of plastic surgery within the parameters of this blog, but I definitely have a few tricks up my sleeve to perk things up a bit for the rest of us.
Ladies- if you are wearing a strapless dress and just need a bit more padding, just wear two bras. Depending on how much space your trying to fill or cleavage you want to show off, you can add “jellies,” socks or even double on padded strapless bras. This is a very DIY approach but is fairly fail-proof.
The jellies also can come in handy in situations when you are wearing a normal bra and even with a tight dress and no bra at all. It’s simple and cheap.
Padded and push-up bras are nice too if you want a little more but don’t want to go over the top. Eventually you could just invest in enough to be pushed-up day after day (if it makes you feel better.)
Just remember- above all, I’m sure you are beautiful just the way you are, but we all know it’s nice to change things up sometimes. Also, at the end of the day if you get to second base, you don’t want to shock anyone going from a D to an A, so always use these tricks in moderation, like everything. And finally, keep it classy- no need to be busting out of anything because you think it looks good, it doesn’t.
So hopefully somewhere inside of this post you found something helpful or at least got a giggle out of the silly things girls do these days.
Be confident, love yourself and do your part to support breat cancer awareness and prevention!
